WORK SCHEDULE: Due to the nature of the business and events, shifts and hours vary. This position runs from March/April 2026 until October 2026, with the possibility of extension. Please anticipate around 10 - 30 hours of work per week (might vary depending on volume of work).
RATE OF PAY: $24.00/hour
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A hands-on, dependable leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in running an organized, safe, and efficient operation. You lead by example, aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, and can jump in wherever needed to support your team and keep orders moving on time. You’re naturally proactive, spotting problems before they escalate and stepping in to solve them calmly and effectively. You communicate clearly, treat both clients and teammates with respect, and understand that great warehouse operations directly impact the client experience.
You also enjoy coaching and developing others, providing regular feedback, and creating a team culture where people feel supported, accountable, and motivated to do their best work. You’re comfortable enforcing procedures, improving systems, and helping build better workflows as the business grows.
Being able to use basic tools, perform minor repairs, maintain equipment, and safely handle heavy or oversized items is also a must. Safety matters to you, and you take responsibility for keeping both people and equipment protected and compliant with regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING ALONG:
MANDATORY: At least 1 year in experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment

Strong leadership skills with comfort managing and supporting a hands-on warehouse team

Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when priorities shift
Comfortable using basic tools and handling light maintenance tasks
A safety-first mindset and awareness of health & safety standards
Ability to safely lift and handle both delicate and heavy inventory
Confidence training, supporting, and giving feedback to team members
Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and support the team
Provide team check in’s daily to ensure your team is supported and any issues to be communicated to you directly
Deliver kind, solution-focused customer support and assist with client-related concerns in coordination with the Client & Team Engagement Manager
Supervise and jump in on loading, unloading, pickups, returns, and deliveries
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and running smoothly
Support and collaborate with Logistics to ensure adequate warehouse coverage
Collaborate with the Inventory Team to refine inventory procedures, covering damages, missing items, contingency items, overbookings etc. that will affect the warehouse team
Support all areas of the warehouse (Picking, Packing, Dish, Smalls Restock, Bigs Restock & Bigs Prep) on an as needed basis
Create and improve warehouse processes and procedures
Coach, and support team members and encouraging cross-training
Monitor workflow efficiency and help solve operational challenges as they arise
Assist in maintaining equipment, handle light maintenance, and use basic tools as needed (drill, air compressor, etc.)
Assist in furniture repair, cleaning, and inventory maintenance
Purchase all warehouse supplies, from tool kits to packing materials, and maintain well-stocked warehouse supply inventory to prevent shortages, as well as tracking budgets/expenses
Ensure health & safety standards are met and maintained
Additional:
Complete and maintain a First Aid Certificate
Stay informed on the latest WorkSafe BC/ Health and Safety regulation
Complete tasks as required and actively contribute to additional projects as assigned
