WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for kick-ass drivers to do our deliveries and retrievals for our clients. Since you will be the face of our company out in the world, we need team members who care about legendary customer service with a passion for providing exceptional client experiences. This includes a professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication. As well as willingness to wear many hats and perform various duties. #everybody sweeps

You will work closely with the Client & Team Engagement Manager and the Logistics Department.

RATE OF PAY:

$22.00 - $25.00/hour during regular hours (5:00 a.m to 9:59 p.m) - based on experience

$33.00 - $37.50/hour during after hours (10:00 p.m to 4:59 a.m) - based on experience

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position runs from May 2025 until October 2025, with the possibility of extension. Please anticipate around 10 - 30 hours of work per week (might vary depending on volume of work).

Summer is our busiest blackout period. For this position, you will need to be available some weekdays, most weekends, long weekends, and for split shifts, which may include late night shifts. Due to the nature of our business, the time of work will depend on the volume of event bookings.  

Days can vary from a single task to a full day. Flexibility is key!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Safely drive and deliver in vehicles sizing up to 26’

• Maintain general truck and warehouse organization and cleanliness

• Loading, unloading and moving inventory by hand, dolly, or basic material handling

• Verifying orders as described on packing slips/delivery notifications

• Organize and safely load orders on trucks

• Perform vehicle inspections (such as checking fluids)

• Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and Office Team to ensure smooth processes and happy clients

• Wedding, Event, Home Staging, & Interior Decor simple set ups (including, but not limited to: loading, unloading, packing/unpacking items, setting up arches, backdrops, assembling furniture pieces, such as beds, couches, chairs, tables, desks, shelving, etc.)

• Wedding, Event, Home Staging & Interior Decor tear down (carefully disassembling, & re-packing decor, loading & unloading)

Please Note: This is a labor intensive position, so you must be physically able to work on your feet while lifting heavy objects during your shifts.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING ALONG:

• VALID BC CLASS 5 DRIVER’S LICENSE (NO SPECIAL LICENSE REQUIRED FOR OUR SIZE OF TRUCKS)*MANDATORY

• Clean driving record *MANDATORY

• Experience and ability to drive up to a 26’ truck

• Must have a clean driving record and display good driving habit

• Team player, positive attitude and excellent problem solving abilities

• Interact at a high level of professionalism with clients and colleagues to build and maintain positive, supportive and respectful relationship

• Ability to safely lift delicate and heavy furniture

• Thoughtful and resourceful in stressful situations

• Self starter and strong attention to detail

• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment

• Computer skills

• Must have a reliable source of transportation especially for late night deliveries (as transit will not be available)
